Nova3 System Architecture

Purpose

Describe the architecture of the Nova3 cognitive infrastructure system.

Nova3 builds AI Operating Systems and the execution layer that runs inside them. These systems allow AI to operate inside organizations using the organization's context, institutional knowledge, and decision logic.

System Model

Nova3 systems operate through two coordinated layers.

Layer 1 -- Operating System

The Operating System is the governing environment.

Responsibilities:

- hold organizational context
- hold institutional knowledge
- maintain decision logic
- maintain quality standards
- coordinate execution across teams and tools

The OS provides continuity across AI models and platforms. It compounds over time and does not start from zero.

Layer 2 -- Replicators

Replicators are the execution layer.

Replicators perform operational work inside the OS using the context and governance the OS provides.

Replicators may take multiple forms:

- agents
- frameworks
- engines
- modules
- scaffolds

Replicators execute workflows, reasoning processes, and operational tasks across the organization.

Replicators execute.

Together they convert organizational chaos into systems that compound.

Model-agnostic
Portable across GPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and Perplexity.

Context-persistent
Institutional knowledge compounds instead of resetting between tasks or tools.

Composable
New capabilities expand the system without rebuilding infrastructure.

Portable
Organizations can change AI models without rebuilding system architecture.

Deployment Model

Nova3 systems expand through a consistent deployment structure.

Activation > Function > Team > Organization

Activation introduces the first operational capability inside the OS.

Each activation expands the system while maintaining the same governing environment.

Capabilities compound rather than fragment across tools.

System Boundary

Nova3 does not replace AI models.

Nova3 provides the environment that allows AI models to operate coherently inside an organization.

Models generate capability.
The OS governs how that capability is used.

Replicators execute work using that governed context.

System Objective
